BYC Staff For 2010
Chief Steward, Chris Healey joined our staff in 2000. He lives in Tiverton with his wife, Katie, and 1-year-old son, Tristan. He grew up in Barrington and is an accomplished sailor.
Natalie Pereira, our resident bartender, has been with us for the last six years. When she’s not here, she can be found preparing taxes for H&R Block or working in her Seekonk garden.
Dockmaster Pete Turenne has been with BYC for the last several seasons, driving the launch. He’s a 2008 graduate of Roger Williams majoring in Marketing.
Scott Davis serves multiple roles as dockhand, launch driver, bartender and all - around right hand man for the last eight years. He’s has graduated from MASS Maritime and will soon be looking for a BIG BOY JOB in real ships.
Jimmy Turenne is in his first year as a launch driver. You have seen him working at the club for the past two years as a dock hand and right hand man to the steward. He is a Senior at Roger Williams, majoring in Marine Biology.
Jaymie McCanna is a junior at URI studying to be a speech and language pathologist. An EBSF instructor for the past 6 summers, this is her second season as a launch driver. Jaymie enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
Linden Wyatt is the club Handyman.
He is pursuing majors in Physics and
Mathematics at URI, with the goal of
working in science policy upon his
graduation next year. In his free time,
Linden enjoys reading, rock climbing,
biking, and especially fencing.
Kristine Magown is in her first year as
a launch driver at the club. A picture and
better bio will follow.
