MOHOSA (Mount Hope Sailing Association)

Date: Wednesday, July 29 and Sunday, August 2, 2026

About: This will be the 38th year for one of the most successful local classic regattas on the bay.  Primarily attended by Bristol YC, Tiverton YC, and Spar Island racers, this is a great way to get “out there” racing away from the harbor, but still only going around the corner into Mt Hope Bay.  The first race, the “Wednesday Night Worlds” is on July 29, replacing the Millard Series race, and the next date is the Sunday Regatta on August 2 when we will run 2 races.  Both race dates have been designated “Boat of the Year” events by NBYA.  Each date carries its own set of trophies, plus we have an awards dinner at BYC after the racing on Sunday when we award a full set of trophies for each date.  There will be two spinnaker and two non-spinnaker classes on each day.
