Women’s Introduction to Racing Clinic
Dates: Saturday & Sunday, June 6 -7 2026
About: The toughest part of racing is getting to the starting line for the first time. This June, East Bay Sailing Foundation is making that step easy and approachable. Join us from 9-4 both days for an introduction to racing clinic hosted by the BYC women's group and sponsored by the Simmons-Truancy fund. This is also open to non-member women. Entry fee for both days is $60, collected prior to the start of instruction on Saturday. Lunch provided and a cocktail social hour will commence at the conclusion of instruction on Saturday.

Bristol 250th Anniversary Pursuit Race
Date: Sunday, June 28, 2026
About: This is a pursuit race run jointly with the Bristol 250th Anniversary Commission and the Herreshoff Marine Museum in celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary. Fun racing with a great party at the yacht club afterwards. Come one, come all!

About: Bristol Yacht Club hosts the 5th Annual New England Wingfoil Championship. Participants with wing foils and windsurf foil boards are all invited to race.

About: This is an invitational regatta for A-Class catamarans, both foiling and floating models. Bristol has long been a center for these rocketships, and we’re pleased to welcome them home this year!

NBYA Annual Regatta – Swanson & Bay Cups
Date: Saturday, August 29, 2026
About: This is Narragansett Bay Yachting Association’s annual regatta, and includes competition among Bay yacht clubs for the Swanson and Bay Cups, for spinnaker and non-spinnaker racers respectively. Teams of three boats per NBYA member club may enter in each division, and the winner hosts the next year’s regatta, so this is a defense of BYC’s title!
