2012 Calendar
BYC members may participate in a variety different cruising events in 2012, and there is something for everyone this year.
The Memorial Day Cruise is the first event of the season. We typically take a short trip as a shakedown cruise and this year is no exception. We will go to either East Greenwich or Wickford Harbor for this relaxing start of the season.
This year the Annual Cruise will go out to Martha's Vinyard and will be a series of short hops to and from. We hope to see lots of families and first-time cruisers on this journey and have instituted a buddy-system to accomodate everyone. See the cruise page for details.
In August, look for a local cruise to the Kickemuit! This short weekend sail will be great fun in any kind of boat. Come one, come all!
September brings cooler weather, and less tourists. Our end-of-the-season cruise will be to Block Island after the Labor Day weekend is gone.
We also are looking to get in at least one more "in the bay" cruise during the summer months. A short weekend that boats of all sizes can get to with plenty of time for fun.
