RI Women's Sailing Event: Need for Speed
Join nationally ranked speed ice sailors Karen Binder and her husband, James Thieler to learn about this exciting and fast winter sailing sport.
This event is open to all women sailors and their +1 guests (male or female). While this event is free, registration is required. Doors will open at 6:00 PM. The presentation will begin at 6:30 PM. Sandwiches and snacks will be served. A cash bar will be open.
This event is sponsored by a group of women sailors from area yacht clubs and sailing organizations who share a desire to help more women participate in and enjoy sailing. We are making friends, building community, and upleveling our sailing skills through social and educational events, sailing clinics, and racing programs. Everyone is welcome…
