About the event
Note: Speakers Joe Bains of the Prudence Island Historical Society and Ray Jenness who is Chairman of the Prudence Conservancy, will share highlights from the history of Prudence Island, including its early role as a substantial settlement for native peoples and as a place of resistance against the British in the Revolutionary War, and more recently as a place of tourism, land preservation, and island-time community.
