Jill will draw on her 50 years of experience predicting weather aboard a variety of sailboats in different locations to explain key ideas such as wind, pressure, and the influence of land on local weather conditions. She will then touch on the role of current, its impact on waves, and the overall sea state. Finally, Jil will provide an overview of useful websites and apps that deliver reliable marine weather information, helping mariners interpret forecasts and sail more safely and confidently.
